Not only is Dr Afrika an esteemed Paediatrician in her community but she is also a proud mom to two children, a boy and a girl. Due to the fact that she is a mother herself, she has the ability to relate easier to parents. In 2010, she graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. As a mother, she began working exclusively with children in 2013. In 2014, she earned a Diploma in Child Health. Then in 2020, she went on to further her studies and graduated with FCPaed (SA) and MMed in Paediatrics.
